Sonic Steals the Show! DPS Chas Wins Big at Interdisciplinary Art Festival in Ranchi

Bokaro: Sonic, the fusion band from Delhi Public School (DPS), Chas, delivered a show-stopping performance at the 3rd National Interdisciplinary Art Conclave ‘Pratidhwani’, held at Sarla Birla School, Ranchi, emerging as the champions among top schools from across the country.

Blending classical finesse with modern rhythm, Sonic’s spellbinding act captivated both jury and audience alike. Abhijeet Roy’s soulful harmonium, Anmol Kumar’s serene tambura, Parth Sarthi Das’s rhythmic mastery on tabla, and Keshav Dey’s high-energy percussion created a vibrant and spiritual fusion that stood out in the intense competition.

Chief Mentor Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan praised the band’s artistry, calling it “a beautiful blend of tradition and innovation” and commended the students for upholding Indian classical heritage while embracing creative evolution.

Principal and Director Dr. Manisha Tiwari expressed immense pride, stating, “Sonic has once again proved that music transcends boundaries. Their victory reflects the spirit of passion and perseverance.”

With this national-level win, DPS Chas continues to affirm its place as a nurturing ground for young artistic excellence.
