DVC to start Cost and Management Accountancy center at Chandrapura

Bokaro: Students of the rural vicinities and also belongs to the economically weaker section of the society will soon to be able to study Cost and Management Accountancy here at Chandrapura in Bokaro district.

On the initiative of the Finance Department of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) management, a study center for Cost and Management Accountancy will soon to be opened here, informed Akshay Kumar Public Relation Officer CTPS.

DVC’s Senior Manager (Finance) Rakesh Ranjan and Deputy Manager (Distribution) Abhijit Gorai said, “We are struggling since past two years to open a center at Chandrapura. Our positive efforts realised and the Executive Secretary of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Kamal Gurumurthy has given permission on 23 August this year to open a center here”.

Besides other states of the country, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India is located in Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. Now the poor students of Chandrapura would able to study the cost and management accountant, said Akshay.

The students who completed their Intermediate education or +2 educations will only be able to enroll for the course, he informed.

“The office bearers of the financial department, LP Gupta, Deputy Manager Abhijeet Gorai, Manoj Singh, Sunil Sinha, senior manager Suman Kumar including others were played a vital role in making the work success,” he added.

Lauding the initiatives of CTPS’s finance department staffs the DVC management has given assurance to provide all sorts of support in establishing this institution earliest, said Akshay.
