Bokaro Press Club breaks ground for its building

Bokaro: Bokaro Press Club has broken ground on Tuesday for its building on 25 decimals of land allotted by district administration Bokaro in front of Bokaro Airport.

Members of the club and honored guests were on hand for the ceremony.

Our aim is to provide recreational and other facilities to the journalists at the club. Construction will begin immediately with a target completion date of the end of June this year, said Vijay Jha director of the press club and Shashank Sekhar ex-president of the club.

The Bokaro Press Club has been a champion of working journalists and professional communicators providing advocacy, information and service to the society since long.

Later a delegation of the club members meets with Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shailesh Kumar Chaurasia. Expressing happiness over the ceremony held DC congratulated the journalists and said district administration is always ready to help journalists.

“We are with you, the administration will always cooperate for work with positive thoughts,” he added. DC further assured for all possible support from the administration in the construction of the press club.

Beside others, SAIL/ Bokaro Steel Plant’s Public Relations Official Amit Mathur, advocate Ranjit Giri, senior journalists Vikash Maharaj, Ajay Ask, Akashy Kumar, Jai Sinha, Srikant Sinha, Ashok Vishwakarma, Krishna Choudhary, Surender Kumar, Shashi Kant, Arun Patakh, Vinod Ojha, Deepak Jha, Hemant Kumar, Deepak Verma, Vijay Tiwary, Rammurti, Deokant, Mrituanjay Mishra, Rajesh Kumar, Dharmanath Kumar, Piyus Rai, Satya Paul, Anil, Manoj, Suman Kumar, Kaustubh Malez, Ajit Kumar, Dipendra Prawanjan, Anil Chandra, Mahavir Prasad, Deendayal and members of the club were present on the occasion.
