Bokaro: ESL, a Vedanta Group Company, has received the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Certification of Appreciation under the Large Scale Manufacturing Sector category at the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Excellence Awards.
ESL has also won CII’s 4-Star Rating Certificate during the award assessment, informed a Public Relations Official of ESL.
As a caring and responsible brand, ESL has always prioritized the environmental responsibility and the safety and health of its employees and the society. ESL’s numerous initiatives, including the complete ban on single-use plastics, are aimed at creating awareness among the people of Jharkhand and contributing towards a cleaner India, said the official.
Sandeep Acharya, Chief HSE, ESL said, it is a proud moment for ESL as it receives appreciation from an external agency for the first time.
CII Awards are a symbol of pride and credibility for any organization and ESL’s continuous wins are a testimony of its hard-working employees who strive for excellence in every endeavour, said Acharya adding “I wish them more success in future.”
