Dr. Sandeep express views on ‘Startup Ecosystem’ in SCO International Summit

Ranchi: Aiming to promote entrepreneurship among Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Nations, the Confederation of Young Leaders, New Delhi, held an international summit on a virtual platform on Wednesday.

Associate Professor of Sarla Birla University (SBU) Ranchi, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, attended the summit as an eminent resource person.

On this occasion, Dr. Sandeep said, sharing the best practice, knowledge and attract investors from SCO member countries will help strengthen the startup ecosystem.

Dr. Sandeep said that the new unique concepts coming with Startups would get a lot of engagement through this forum.

“Sharing our best practices, knowledge, engaging corporates and investors from all member states, raising capital, setting up incubators, providing exposure and scale with market access will certainly help our startup’s ideas to be innovative.”

India has focused on creating three new pillars of cooperation— Start-up and Innovation, Science and Technology, and Traditional medicine. Keeping in mind, the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum has been organized to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among SCO member countries.

More than 100 young entrepreneurs and representatives from both countries participated in the event and laid the foundation for a strong partnership.

Himadrish Suwan, the President of the Confederation of Young Leaders and the Co-Chairman of the Forum, said, “India has always been a knowledge society, whereas China has been a new society. Ancient China was very advanced in science and Technology, while Indian astronomy and mathematics were quite popular in China. Indian astronomers were appointed on official boards set up to make calendars. The Indian concept of zero and nine planets has helped in several discoveries in China, he said.

“To play a role in innovations, we can do a lot together,” added Himadrish.
