Bokaro: Aiming to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of their academic concepts, an Inter Centre Quiz Competition was organsied under their Education Project PRERNA at Bokaro.
The competition was organised by ESL’s SCR department in association with Sarthak Foundation. Our project Prerna often encourages its students to participate in events that help them attain knowledge, informed a Public Relation Official of ESL.
The inter-center quiz was also designed to ensure that students actively participate in the fun and interactive session and widen their horizons. The competition also helped improve teacher and student engagement and encouraged them to put their best foot forward. The confidence-building exercise helped in building confidence in children while making them more aware, said the official.
Speaking on the occasion, S. Venkataraman, CHRO, ESL said, “It was great to see students participate in something aside from their routine schedule and engage in something fun and exciting where they could express themselves well.”
“The extra-curricular activity saw active participation from both junior and senior level students of our PRERNA centers. I congratulate our CSR team and the Sarthak Sustainable Development Foundation for organizing the competition as well as the 150 students that made it a success,” he added.
The competition included questions based on songs, pictures and general knowledge. The junior and senior level students were divided into groups based on their age and grade/standard.
