RNS: The students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro once again made their mark by winning the title in the state level ‘Ad Meliora Quizzing Fest 2022’ organized by DPS Ranchi. Two teams of DPS Bokaro participated in the competition. The team of Akshara Roy Sharma and Tamanna Ray (Class- XI) won the first position while Shrestha Rupam Dwivedi (Class X) and Ayushman Dutta of (Class-XI) secured the third position. The winning team was awarded with a Trophy, Medals, Certificates and a Cash Prize of INR 20,000 whereas the team in the third position received a Cash Prize of Rs 5000 along with the trophy, medals, and certificates.
Around 25 teams from different schools across the state, participated in this competition were limited to twelve teams, which were selected for semi-finals. 6 teams qualified for the Grand Finale.
Principal A.S. Gangwar congratulated the teams and said that quizzing offers students a break from traditional classroom learning and acts as a facilitator in expanding their knowledge. Participation in such activities encourages teamwork and makes students skilled for interviews and debates.
