Teachers’ Day Celebrated with Pomp and Show across Bokaro

Bokaro: DPS Bokaro celebrated Teachers’ Day to recognise the contribution of teachers with their love, perseverance, affection, and sacrifices in building a healthy, positive community and powerful nation.

In honour of their respectable teachers DPS Bokaro students organized and conducted a Special Assembly and later in role of teachers even conducted classes for the day. Exhibiting their love and respect for entire teaching fraternity including the Principal, students gifted them flowers and handmade cards who were cheered by everyone.

The special assembly started with the lighting of the lamp followed by floral tributes was paid to the great philosopher and second President of India Dr. S Radhakrishnan whose honour teachers’ day is celebrated. A beautiful cultural program was presented by the students which included Classical Dance, Orchestra and Group Song which was cheered by students as well as teachers.

On this occasion, a special program was also organized in the A. V. Hall to felicitate the teachers where a musical presentation by the art education department and the message from Padmashree V. K. Shunglu, Chairman (The Delhi Public School Society) was conveyed to all the teachers.

Addressing the assembly Principal, A.S. Gangwar said, children are the future of the country and teachers are the foundation stones for their growth and development. Teachers are making of a man and foundation of education and thus whole civilization of present and future.

“No nation can grow and become developed without active cooperation of teachers. Teachers are pillars for the success of any society and nation,” he added.

A special assembly was also organized in the Primary Wing where attractive and entertaining cultural shows and dances were presented by tiny tots.
