This is one of the ways that it accomplishes this goal. It has been ensured that each and every game and activity is responsive, immersive, and offers a learning environment that is equal and promotes students to become autonomous learners, said the official.

“This will enable them to be financially free at an early age and they can explore the various opportunities confidently. Every student irrespective of the stream he or she is pursuing should have the knowledge of debts, equity and mutual funds.  He advised the students to participate in corporate quizzes and role plays to have a hands-on experience of the financial sector,” he added.

A. S. Gangwar, Principal DPS Bokaro, said that this commerce lab is the first of its kind. With the help of simulation games and board games, practical information about Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and various subjects of Commerce will be given to the students from class VI onwards.

This will groom students to become effective learners. It will also help in improving interpersonal relationships, teamwork skills, and money management thereby making them job-ready, he said.
