Finally, India receives the last Rafale fighter jet

RNS: India has acquired all 36 Rafale aircraft from France, with the final aircraft arriving today. The aircraft arrived after a fast mid-air refuelling from a UAE Air Force tanker aircraft after taking off from France, according to the Indian Air Force.

The inter-governmental agreement between India and France was inked in 2016, and as part of that accord, France promised to sell India 36 Rafale fighter jets at the cost of approximately 60,000 crore rupees each. On July 29, 2020, the first batch of five Rafale jets arrived at their destination.
