RNS: A colourful program was organized at the football ground Chandrapura on Monday evening. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, the event was organized by DVC-CTPS and DVC Dalit Kamgar Sangh.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Engineer and Project Head Sunil Kumar Pandey said, we should all work together to teach children the skills necessary for building the nation and that we should all play a significant role in making sure that they receive an education in those skills in order to realize Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s vision.
He said that Baba Saheb’s positive approach was a major factor in DVC’s present success in turning 75 into a productive and profitable year. He thanked the EDCL officers and staff members present for helping to make the event a success.
Chief Engineer and Project Head of DVC Bokaro Thermal NK Chowdhary noted in his talk that Baba Saheb had a distinctive quality, the ability to take a resolve, the right to equality, and the adoption of a positive attitude for labourers and women. As a result of his many admirable traits, Baba Saheb is now revered not just in India but all across the world.
Chief Engineer and Project Head of Chandrapura Vandana Pandey, Deputy General Manager Administration TT Das and EDCL Patron Lucky Hembram were honoured by presenting saplings on this occasion.
During the event participants of many programs organized on the biography of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar in the past were felicitated.
Chhau dance was organized on this occasion; people enjoyed it till late at night.
Besides others, Deputy Chief Engineer TK Das, Additional Director Dilip Kumar, Rajkumar Chaudhary, Sunil Mishra, Saryu Ravidas, Baldev Ram, Kuljit Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Amulya Singh Sardar, Dr Laxman Soren, Badal Mahali, Suman Soren, Pradeep Kumar Srivastava were present on this occasion.
