Jamshedpur: XLRI – Xavier School of Management hosted its 69th Annual Convocation on Saturday, celebrating the graduation of 595 students across multiple disciplines.
The ceremony recognized top performers in Human Resource Management (HRM), Business Management (BM), Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM), General Management (GMP), Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Creation (PGP-IEV), and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).
Sanjiv Puri, Chairman & MD of ITC Ltd., was the Chief Guest, receiving the Sir Jehangir Ghandy Medal for Industrial & Social Peace. In his address, Puri stressed ethical leadership, innovation, and sustainable growth.
The event was presided over by T. V. Narendran, Chairman of XLRI’s Board of Governors, and other leadership members. XLRI continues its global outreach, maintaining partnerships with top institutions like IAE Bordeaux Business School and Rutgers University.
The ceremony also honored faculty and staff with Long Service Medals, recognizing their 15 years of dedicated service. Graduating student Kislay Kumar Bhardwaj and proud parent Lavkush Shukla reflected on their experiences at XLRI, marking the institution’s ongoing legacy of academic excellence and leadership.
