DPS Chas Bokaro Students to Represent India at Asian Rope Skipping Championship in Nepal

Bokaro: Four young champions from Delhi Public School, Chas Bokaro are set to showcase their talent on an international stage, having earned a spot at the prestigious Asian Rope Skipping Championship to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from May 16 to 18, 2025.

The selected athletes — Shivanshi (Class 4), Aashi Singh (Class 5), Vanshika Suman (Class 5), and Zoya Siddiqui (Class 5) — will represent both their school and country at the championship, which will be hosted at the Tripureshwar National Sports Council Covered Hall. Their journey not only includes high-level competition, but also promises cross-cultural exposure and opportunities to enhance their linguistic and interpersonal skills.

These young rope skipping prodigies have already made a name for themselves at state and national levels under the banner of the World Rope Skipping Federation — and now, they are all set to leap onto the Asian stage.

Expressing pride in their achievement, Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, Chief Mentor of DPS Chas Bokaro, applauded the students’ dedication and emphasized the school’s unwavering support for nurturing global talent.

Dr. Manisha Tiwari, Director and Principal, also congratulated the participants, highlighting the school’s commitment to the holistic development of its students — both in academics and extracurricular excellence.

With ropes in hand and dreams in sight, these four students are ready to jump into history.
