Jharkhand Coaches to Shine on Global Stage at FIVB Level 1 Training 2025

Ranchi: Two volleyball professionals from Mongia National Volleyball Academy, Jharkhand have been selected for the prestigious Level 1 International Coaching Course 2025, organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

Former national player Rakesh Kumar Singh and academy assistant coach Ajit Kumar Singh will represent Jharkhand in the training sessions, scheduled to take place from May 4 to 8 in Muscat, Oman, and Guwahati, India.

Rakesh Kumar Singh has been recommended for the Muscat course—hosted by the Oman Volleyball Association at the National Indoor Stadium—by the Indian Volleyball Federation’s ad-hoc committee. Meanwhile, Ajit Kumar Singh will participate in the Guwahati leg, organized under the Brahmaputra Volleyball League with direct support from the FIVB, aimed at boosting grassroots volleyball development in India.

The selections have sparked celebration within Jharkhand’s volleyball community, with fellow athletes and stakeholders extending congratulations and best wishes to the duo.
