The two-day event brought together over 1,500 attendees from Guidewire’s PartnerConnect program, including consultants, customers, and developers, to share insights, explore emerging trends in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance sector, and drive innovation.
The summit opened with a keynote by Mike Rosenbaum, CEO, and Diego Devalle, Chief Product Development Officer of Guidewire, who discussed the evolving landscape of P&C insurance, the company’s vision for developer growth, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the developer experience.
Launch of Guidewire Technology Labs
A major highlight of the summit was the announcement of Guidewire Technology Labs, a strategic partnership program with leading Indian universities to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Developed in collaboration with Guidewire’s partner ecosystem, the initiative introduces students to Guidewire’s core technologies and industry practices.
The Guidewire Intelligent Tech Curriculum has already been rolled out at Amrita University, PES University, REVA University, SRM University, and Chennai Institute of Technology. The program offers hands-on training in enterprise technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Go, preparing students with job-ready skills in high-demand cloud platforms.
“DEVSummit is more than just an event—it’s a catalyst for innovation and collaboration across our ecosystem,” said Mohammed Anzy S, Managing Director and Vice President of Engineering, Guidewire India. “With the launch of Guidewire Technology Labs, we aim to scale this initiative to more universities, nurturing the next generation of experts who will drive global innovation from India.”
