Bokaro: Students from Classes 11 and 12 of Delhi Public School (DPS), Chas, Bokaro, embarked on an enriching educational tour to Sudha Dairy on Thursday. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices, offering students a first-hand understanding of the dairy sector.
During the tour, students explored various departments, including milk collection, processing, packaging, and quality control. Dairy experts guided the students through the facility, explaining each step of the production process and highlighting the importance of hygiene, technology, and quality assurance in the dairy industry.
Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, the school’s Chief Mentor, emphasized the value of such initiatives, stating, “Industrial visits like these strengthen students’ practical knowledge and prepare them to face real-world challenges.”
Echoing the sentiment, School Director and Principal Dr. Manisha Tiwari added, “Our goal is to take learning beyond textbooks. Facilities like Sudha Dairy offer students a unique opportunity to witness how industries function and inspire them to keep exploring new areas of knowledge.”
Pro Vice Chairman N. Muralidharan and Member Secretary Suresh Agarwal praised the initiative, noting that these experiences not only enhance academic understanding but also equip students with industry perspectives that are crucial for their career development.
