Bokaro: The week-long Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival at Dharmasthan, Sector 4G, Hanuman Mandir premises concluded on Friday evening with the idol immersion of Lord Krishna amid devotional chants and prayers.
From Janmashtami to Chhathiari, large numbers of devotees participated in daily rituals, including puja, bhajans and evening aarti. The Chhathiari Utsav, held on Thursday, was marked with grandeur, where kheer and laddoo prasad were distributed among devotees. On the day of immersion too, prasad was offered as part of the concluding rituals.
The festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community, with contributions from Swaroop Shekhar Pandey, Munna Ji, Bablu Ji, Rajesh Chaudhary, Archana Chaudhary, Arun Pathak, Saroj Mishra, Amar Ji Sinha, Neetu Pandey, Daisy, Sangeeta Sahay, Yashika Sahay, Rekha, Mala, Anuradha, Milan, Babita Sharma and others ensuring its success.
With devotional fervour, music, and community spirit, the celebrations reaffirmed the cultural vibrancy of Bokaro’s religious traditions.
