Noida: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated a state-of-the-art drone manufacturing company along with an engine test facility in Noida, marking a major step towards India’s self-reliance in defence production.
Calling drones the “backbone of modern warfare,” Rajnath Singh underlined the importance of strengthening Aatmanirbhar Bharat in the defence sector. He said the new initiative is expected to create over 5,000 jobs and bolster India’s indigenous capabilities.

Referring to Operation Sindoor, the Defence Minister said it showcased not only the courage of Indian soldiers but also the strength of homegrown innovations.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed that “a nation becomes powerful only through the synergy of knowledge and arms,” adding that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a frontrunner in defence production and industrial growth.
