First from Jharkhand to Receive the Inclusive Leadership Champion Award
New Delhi: Sanjeev Shekhar, Head of Corporate Affairs at Adani Power Jharkhand, has been conferred the Inclusive Leadership Champion Award by the Greentech Foundation at the Greentech Corporate Leadership Awards 2025 held in New Delhi.
The award was jointly presented by Rajiv K. Dubey, Chief Advisor to Greentech Foundation and former CMD of Canara Bank; Major General (Retd.) Sanjay Christopher Meston; and K. Sharan, CEO of the foundation. Mr. Shekhar received the honour in the Individual Leadership category.
Notably, he is the first professional from Jharkhand to receive this prestigious recognition, marking a proud moment for the state.
Other Adani Group leaders also earned recognition at the event, including Sandeep Gautam, Head–Commercial and Business Development, MTCS, and Dr. Hemant Sahu and Amit Kanojia from Adani Cement.
Held at Radisson Blu Plaza, the two-day Greentech Leadership Summit featured prominent speakers during a panel discussion on “Leadership in the Era of Disruption.” Among the panellists were Group Captain (Retd.) Rajendra Kumar Joshi of Jio Platforms, Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Rajiv Hora, Sandeep Gautam, and Sanjeev Shekhar.
With over three decades of experience across corporate affairs, communications, HR, and media, Mr. Shekhar has previously served with Essar Power, Reliance Industries, and Vaishnavi Communications. A former journalist with Hindustan Times and IBN-7, he has also authored three books—Beyond News, Deadlock, and Ride Above the Clouds—and received multiple honours including the Rabindranath Tagore Sahitya Samman and the Sparsh Lifetime Achievement Award.
