PM Modi Vows to Drive Out Infiltrators, End Naxalism by 2026 on National Unity Day

Gandhinagar: Delivering a powerful message from the foot of the Statue of Unity on National Unity Day, PM Modi on Friday vowed that his government will not rest “until every infiltrator is thrown out of the country.”

Marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of India’s integration, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his government’s resolve to safeguard national identity and territorial integrity.

“They think that the country, once divided, will keep breaking apart. But if the nation’s security and identity are in danger, every citizen is at risk,” Modi declared. “On National Unity Day, we must resolve that we will not rest until every infiltrator living in India is expelled.”

PM Modi Warns Against Demographic Conspiracy

Reiterating his Independence Day warning, Modi accused infiltrators of attempting to change India’s demography and undermine national security, calling it a “conspiracy that threatens unity and social harmony.”

He said infiltration was robbing Indian youth of jobs, targeting women, and encroaching on Adivasi lands through deceit, adding that the government’s ‘High-Power Demography Mission’ would directly confront this crisis.

“We cannot let infiltrators take over our country or undo the sacrifices of our freedom fighters,” he asserted. “This crackdown will be the truest tribute to those who gave us an independent India.”

Mission to Eradicate Naxalism by 2026

In the same address, the Prime Minister also vowed to wipe out Naxalism from the nation by March 31, 2026. He highlighted that the number of districts affected by Maoist violence has dropped from 125 before 2014 to just 11, with only three still severely impacted.

“We have broken the back of Maoist terrorism,” Modi said. “But we will not stop until Naxalism is completely eradicated from Indian soil.”

Unity, Security, and Self-Reliance at Core of Modi’s Message

The Prime Minister’s twin emphasis on national unity and internal security framed his National Unity Day address as both a tribute to Sardar Patel’s vision and a call to action for citizens to remain vigilant against forces seeking to divide the country.
