
“Work by the rules—the Vigilance Department stands with you,” says Vijaya Nand Sharma
Chandrapura: The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Chandrapura Power Plant (CTPS) concluded its Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with a closing ceremony held at Tejas Bhavan on Monday. The week-long event, jointly organized by the plant management and the Vigilance Department, featured a series of competitions promoting integrity and transparency among employees.
Senior General Manager and Project Head Vijaya Nand Sharma, addressing officers and staff, urged everyone to strictly adhere to organizational rules and ethical standards. “There is no need to fear while performing your duties if you follow the rules. The Vigilance Department will always stand by you,” he emphasized.
The event was also addressed by Avijit Ghosh (SGM, O&M), Vinod Kumar Rai (Director, DTI-Chandrapura), Dr. P.K. Ghosh (DGM & In-charge, DVC Hospital), R.K. Choubey (DGM, Security), and Rajkumar Chaudhary (Manager, HR). The program was anchored by Abhishek Ghosh, Senior Manager (Mechanical) and Vigilance Officer.
Winners of various competitions were felicitated with certificates and prizes. Among those awarded were Pawan Kumar, Vinod Kumar Rai, Animesh Giri, Chandan Kumar, Amitabh Ghosh, Mukesh Kumar, Javika Bauri, Anandi Kumari, Pooja Kumari, Riya Gorai, Tanushree Gorai, Neha Kumari, Komal Kumari, Roshni Parveen, and Tanya Kumari.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of DVC’s commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and good governance.
