West Bengal Draft Electoral Rolls 2026- Over 58 Lakh Names Deleted
Kolkata: The draft voters’ list for West Bengal under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 was published on Monday, marking a major step in the state’s electoral roll clean-up exercise.
According to official data, 7,66,37,529 voters were covered in the first phase of the SIR process. Of these, 7,08,16,616 Enumeration Forms have been digitised, achieving a digitisation rate of 92.4 per cent.
As part of the revision, over 58 lakh names have been removed from the rolls after being identified as absent, shifted, deceased, or duplicate voters.

Additionally, 31,38,374 voters have not been mapped with the electoral rolls of 2002. These cases will now undergo verification through hearings, which began on Monday and will continue till February 7, 2026.
Voters whose names do not appear in the draft rolls can apply for inclusion by submitting Form-6 to their respective Booth Level Officer (BLO) or online via voters.eci.gov.in or the ECINET mobile app.
The draft electoral rolls are available on the Election Commission of India website, CEO West Bengal portal, ECINET app, as well as at BDO, SDO, DM offices, local government offices, and district websites.
The final electoral rolls for West Bengal will be published on February 14, 2026, after the completion of the claims and objections process.
