
Bokaro: The Human Resources Department of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on Thursday organised an award ceremony under the prestigious “SAIL Shabash Scheme” at the Cinema Arena of Bokaro Club, celebrating excellence and dedication among its workforce.
The ceremony was graced by Priya Ranjan, Director-in-Charge of BSL, as the chief guest. He was joined by the Executive Director, Chief General Managers from various departments, and senior officials of the plant.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Welcoming the gathering, Pranjali, General Manager (Human Resources), outlined the objectives, structure, and significance of the SAIL Shabash Scheme, describing it as a key initiative to motivate and recognise exceptional workplace performance.
Addressing the audience, Ranjan said the scheme reflects **Steel Authority of India Limited’s commitment to acknowledging employees who demonstrate outstanding performance, sincerity, and dedication. He noted that such recognition not only honours individual achievement but also strengthens organisational goals and nurtures a culture of excellence. Congratulating the awardees, he wished them continued success in their professional journey.
As many as 163 employees were felicitated during the event. The occasion proved to be a proud and emotional moment not just for the award recipients but also for their families, who witnessed the recognition of their hard work and commitment.
The programme was conducted by Dr. Nanda Priyadarshini, Assistant General Manager (Human Resources), while the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Mala Rani, Deputy General Manager (Human Resources).
