Who Are Gen Z and Gen Alpha?
In demographic terms, Generation Z generally includes those born between the late 1990s and early 2010s and is widely recognised by global researchers as the first true digital-native generation, having grown up with widespread internet access and mobile technology. Experts say this cohort is already reshaping workplaces and social norms with its agile, values-driven outlook.
Generation Alpha, born from the early 2010s onwards, is the first generation to grow up entirely in a world shaped by artificial intelligence, smart devices, streaming platforms and digital learning. Researchers note that their upbringing in a fully digital ecosystem equips them with advanced technological fluency and adaptability, traits expected to significantly influence future economies and societies.
