Hemant Soren Distributes Appointment Letters to 1,910 JSSC-CGL Recruits in Ranchi

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday distributed appointment letters to 1,910 successful candidates of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023 examination, calling it a “New Year’s gift” for the youth. The ceremony was held at Morabadi Ground.

Congratulating the recruits, the Chief Minister said their success came after sustained hard work and a long struggle, and urged them to serve the people with dedication and integrity. “You are now part of the government machinery. Your work will shape Jharkhand’s development,” he said.

Addressing concerns over the recruitment process, Soren said the government stood firmly with candidates despite disruptions and attempts by organised gangs to derail the examination. “From the exam to court proceedings, everything was handled transparently. Conspiracies failed, and merit prevailed,” he said.

The Chief Minister warned of strict action against anyone attempting to manipulate recruitment exams. “Those who try to play with the future of our youth will be sent to jail,” he asserted.

Urging the newly appointed employees to mentor others, Soren said collective progress of the youth would strengthen the state. “Help others move forward—when every young person stands on their own feet, Jharkhand will stand strong,” he added.
