
*Jubilee Golf Tournament tees off on February 21 and 22*
Jamshedpur:The iconic Golmuri Golf Course is set to host a grand sporting spectacle as the 48th Jubilee Golf Tournament tees off on February 21 and 22, bringing together around 250 golfers from across the country for one of the region’s most prestigious and eagerly awaited golf events. Organised jointly by Golmuri Club and Jamshedpur Golf with the support of Tata Steel, the two-day championship will feature top players from cities including Pune, Bhubaneswar, Paradip, Ranchi and Jamshedpur, celebrating competition, camaraderie and Golmuri’s enduring golfing legacy.
The tournament is being hosted under the joint banner of Golmuri Club and Jamshedpur Golf, with support from Tata Steel and its associate bodies. Players will vie for honours across multiple categories, celebrating not just competition but the enduring golfing legacy that Golmuri represents.
Several senior leaders from Tata Steel and the host clubs will be present to mark the occasion. Among the key dignitaries are D. B. Sundar Ramam, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel and Captain, Jamshedpur Golf; Ujjal Chakraborti, Executive-in-Charge, Tinplate Division, Tata Steel and Chairman, Golmuri Club; Rajesh Roshan, Secretary, Golmuri Club; Neeraj Sinha, Chief (Safety), Tata Steel and Secretary, Jamshedpur Golf; Alan Singh, CEO, Jamshedpur Golf; Abhijit Nanoti, Managing Director, JCAPCPL; and Varun Bajaj, Chief (Corporate Services), Tata Steel.
Organisers said the Jubilee Tournament is designed to strengthen sporting bonds among golfing communities while promoting the spirit of fair play and excellence. They expressed confidence that this year’s edition will live up to Golmuri’s rich traditions and offer a memorable experience for both players and spectators.
