Poetry Symposium at Bokaro Steel Library Enthrals Audience

Bokaro: A vibrant poetry symposium held Thursday evening at the Bokaro Steel Library in Sector 05 of Bokaro Steel Plant left the audience spellbound with a rich flow of verse from the city’s noted poets and literary figures.

The programme opened with a Saraswati Vandana by Gangesh Pathak. Welcoming the gathering, Kasturi Sinha of the Central Committee of All India Chetna Darpan said writers play a crucial role in shaping the nation’s direction and praised BSL management for consistently providing a platform to local literary talent.

Chief Guest Kamlesh Kumar, General Manager (Contract Cell–Non-Operative), underscored the importance of writers in nation-building and lauded the poets’ creative depth. Special Guest Alok Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Communications and Administration), noted that poetry has the rare power to awaken dormant human emotions and energise society.

Poets present at the symposium captivated listeners with their compelling recitations. Assistant Manager (Communications and Administration) Manas Chandra Rajwar played a key role in organising the event. The session was smoothly conducted by Luv Kumar, while chairperson Amrita Sharma delivered the vote of thanks.

The event reflected Bokaro Steel Plant’s continued commitment to promoting literature, culture and community engagement.
