India’s Silent Storm: IAF Jams Pak’s Chinese Radar, Strikes Deep Under Operation Sindoor

New Delhi: In a significant strategic revelation, the Government of India announced on Wednesday that the Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully jammed and bypassed Pakistan’s Chinese-made air defence systems during a series of precise airstrikes carried out between May 7 and 10 as part of Operation Sindoor.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B), the IAF completed its mission within just 23 minutes, striking high-value terror and military targets in both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK), while completely evading Pakistani defences.

“The IAF bypassed and jammed Pakistan’s Chinese-supplied air defence systems, demonstrating India’s technological edge. All missions were completed without any loss of Indian assets,” the ministry stated.

Officials said the operations were powered by advanced indigenous technologies — including long-range drones and precision-guided munitions — allowing for politically calibrated and highly effective targeting. The successful disruption of enemy radars and communications was key to the swift and damage-free execution of the operation.

“India’s superior surveillance, planning, and delivery systems ensured zero losses while achieving full operational objectives,” the I&B Ministry noted.

The revelation follows a ceasefire request reportedly initiated by Pakistan after four days of intense cross-border engagements, both in the air and along the Line of Control (LoC). The disclosure marks a major strategic milestone and showcases the increasing capability and confidence of Indian defence forces in technologically complex operations.

This is one of the first official confirmations of India’s ability to neutralise sophisticated foreign-supplied defence infrastructure through electronic warfare, signaling a significant shift in regional military dynamics.
