Boosting Digital Skills: CCL Hosts Workshop on MS Office and AI

Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) hosted a one-day technical workshop on “Advanced MS Office and Practical Applications of AI” at its Prakash Auditorium, aiming to enhance digital proficiency among employees of Ranchi-based central undertakings.

Organised under the aegis of Narakas (Undertaking), the event focused on equipping participants with hands-on knowledge of cutting-edge digital tools, particularly MS Office and AI-based technologies.

Inaugurating the session, CCL’s General Manager (Official Language) Sanjay Kumar Thakur emphasized the need to embrace modern technology to thrive in the digital era, encouraging attendees to engage actively and seek clarity.

Veteran IT expert OP Agarwal, with over five decades of experience, led the workshop. Known for integrating Hindi into digital platforms, Agarwal has been recognized by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates for his contributions.

A standout moment was the interactive “Ask Me Anything” session, where participants received practical solutions to technical challenges. The workshop concluded with a friendly competition, and winners were awarded for their enthusiasm and skill.

Attendees lauded the initiative as a significant stride toward integrating Hindi into digital workflows. Thakur, Dr. Divik Divesh, and the Official Language Department team were praised for their efforts in making the event a success.
