New Delhi : In a major tech-driven initiative to enhance passenger convenience, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today launched the ‘RailOne’ mobile app, a comprehensive digital platform that integrates all Indian Railways passenger services under one roof.
Unveiled on the Foundation Day of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) in New Delhi, the RailOne app is positioned as a one-stop solution offering seamless access to services like ticket booking (including unreserved tickets), train enquiries, PNR status, journey planning, Rail Madad (grievance redressal), and food ordering on trains.
Highlighting the ministry’s commitment to passenger-centric innovation, Vaishnaw emphasized that passenger safety and comfort must remain the top priority for railway officials.
The app is now available on both Android Play Store and iOS App Store. One of its standout features is the single-sign-on system, allowing users to access multiple services without juggling multiple logins. Existing users of the RailConnect or UTSonMobile apps can log in directly using their current credentials.
With integrated features and an intuitive interface, RailOne is expected to transform how passengers interact with the railway ecosystem, providing a more efficient, unified, and user-friendly experience.
