Johar Darpan Launches ‘Anmol Moti’ Poetry Collection at DAV-6 Bokaro

Bokaro: A vibrant literary gathering marked the launch of the shared poetry collection Anmol Moti at DAV Public School, Sector-6, Bokaro, on Sunday. Organized by literary forum Johar Darpan, the event featured a heartfelt poetry symposium with participation from poets across Jharkhand, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.

The event began with lamp lighting, followed by Saraswati Vandana by Antrika Singh and a welcome song by Jhuma Chakraborty. Founder Pankaj Kumar Das welcomed guests, while the program was presided over by noted Bokaro poet Shyam Sundar Kewat and conducted by Dr. Sandhya Rani from Chatra.

In the presence of Chief Guest Mahendra Nath Goswami Sudhakar and special guests including DAV-6 Principal Anuradha Singh, Vinay Kumar Upadhyay Vidrup, Shanti Bharat, Vasu Bihari, Sukumar, and Arun Pathak, the anthology Anmol Moti was officially released.

The poetry recitation session saw powerful and emotional performances by over two dozen poets, including Antrika Singh, Kavita Saav, Sanjay Hazaribaghi, Supriya Rashmi, Neelam Jha, Saroj Jha Jharkhandi, Pankaj Kumar Das, and others. Themes ranged from human emotions and social harmony to satire and folk rhythms.

Notable performances included Saroj Jha’s ghazal and poem, Arun Pathak’s Maithili song on unity beyond caste and religion, Smita’s folk-inspired Kajri, and Sonam Jha’s poignant verse on Kashmiri children. Anuradha Singh also presented a poem on mutual understanding in marriage.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Johar Darpan, appreciating the spirit of literary expression and cultural harmony shared throughout the gathering.
