Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday unveiled the official logo of the Bihar Museum Biennale 2025 through remote launch, marking the beginning of a global cultural celebration in Patna. He also inaugurated a series of international exhibitions by cutting the ceremonial ribbon at the Bihar Museum.
As part of the Biennale’s opening, CM Nitish toured the vibrant temporary exhibition spaces, featuring displays from countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Zambia, Mexico, Korea, and Sri Lanka. The exhibits, set around diverse themes such as festivals and performances, symbolism, initiation ceremonies, Chirand excavations, aesthetics, health, and wellness, highlighted shared cultural narratives and global heritage.
Nitish also visited a special exhibition in the museum’s Multipurpose Auditorium, showcasing the culture, history, and natural beauty of countries like Indonesia and Ethiopia. He was briefed by Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General of Bihar Museum, on the Biennale’s vision, layout, and the participating nations’ contributions.
During the event, Art, Culture and Youth Minister Motilal Prasad welcomed the Chief Minister with a floral tribute. Nitish also held informal discussions with ambassadors and representatives from Ethiopia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Argentina, and Peru, followed by a group photo session.
Later, he inspected preparations for the evening cultural programme at the Muktaakash Auditorium, where he interacted warmly with artists and attendees, receiving greetings from the gathered crowd and offering encouragement to performers taking part in the Biennale.
