DVC Expands Renewable Energy with 10 MW Floating Solar Plant in Jharkhand

 

Chandrapura: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Member (Finance) Arup Sarkar on Thursday inaugurated a 10 MW floating solar power plant at Rijyawar pond and a newly constructed sewage treatment plant (STP) in Chandrapura.

The visit also included a review meeting with senior officials, where Sarkar outlined key directives for ongoing projects. He was welcomed by Senior General Manager and Project Head Vijaya Nand Sharma.

The floating solar plant, with 10 MW (AC) capacity, is part of DVC’s push for clean energy expansion in the region.

Several top executives, including Executive Director L.S.S. Chaitanya Prakash, Chief GM Sunil Kumar Pandey, and other senior officials, attended the inauguration.
