News Desk: In a significant show of military preparedness, the Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a test of a locally developed anti-ship ballistic missile, capable of striking targets at extended ranges with high precision, according to reports citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The missile, launched from a naval platform, demonstrated high-speed engagement and accuracy during the live-fire exercise. Officials described the test as a clear indication of Pakistan’s advancing precision-strike capabilities at sea.
The trial was observed by Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, alongside senior scientists and engineers involved in the development programme.

In its statement, the ISPR подчеркнул that the successful launch reflects a strong blend of technological innovation and operational expertise, underscoring the navy’s growing reliance on indigenous defense systems.
The military also emphasized that the development strengthens Pakistan’s ability to maintain credible sea-based deterrence, while contributing to maritime security and stability in the region.
The missile test comes at a time of rising geopolitical tensions, particularly in the Middle East following the February 28 US-Israel strike on Tehran, adding strategic context to the demonstration of naval firepower.
