Dhanbad: Now the third time root for the road show of Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been changed to Matkuria Check post to Bank More JD Kumar. Rahul will conduct Road Show on 7 May to garner support for their candidate Kriti Azad.
Earlier the roadshow was scheduled from Karkend Nehru Garden to Barbadda Airstrip later it was scheduled form CIMFR gate to Subash Chowk, Naya Bazar. Root has been changed after the inspection of the locations by SPG, district administration and party men, informed S Ahmad in-charge of Congress party LS constituency.
“Congress Party General Secretary Priyanka will address mass rallies at Dhanbad on 9 May,” he added.
Our rigorous efforts and campaigning is in full swing; we are sure that Azad will win the poll fray with a huge margin, said Ahmad.
Meanwhile, BP Singh the district president ‘predicted’ a clean sweep of the Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat. “We have the contest only with the independent candidate Siddharth Gautam and not with BJP’s PN Singh,” he added.
Dhanbad constituency will go to the polls in the sixth phase on 12 May, all total twenty candidates are in the poll fray; the candidates and supporters of others parties are also on their precise efforts to reach maximum voters.
All total 20,49,181 voters will cast their rights under the Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency includes 11,09,541 male and 9,35,243 female voters while 27 transgender and 4379 are service voters. “About 23000 voters in the Dhanbad LS constituency will use their votes for the first time in this LS poll,” said A Dodde DC Dhanbad.
