Bokaro: On the auspicious occasion of 74 Independence Day Pradeep Kumar Sikdar, Chief Engineer and Project Head, Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Chandrapura Thermal Power Station, flagged off the tricolour in a simple ceremony organized in the courtyard of Ambedkar Bhavan, keeping social distance in view of the Corona infection epidemic.
In his address after the flag-hoisting, Sikdar recalled the warriors who played an essential role in the independence of the country and to keep the freedom untouched. Expressing its commitment, DVC has a significant contribution in social upliftment he said that to fight the corona infection, we have to follow every guideline of the government.
Beside others, Deputy Chief Engineers Subhash Singh, MK Jha, Ravindra Kumar, PP Shah, Abhay Srivastava, SK Sharma, Rakesh Ranjan, Sushil Kumar Mishra, PK Jha, Anil Kumar Singh, Tariq Saeed, Tanisha Silvi, and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials were present at the function on occasion.
