DPS Bokaro student gets AIR-2 in International Maths Olympiad

Bokaro: Kumar Anmol, a Class 7 student of DPS Bokaro has brought in laurels to his alma mater by securing the second Rank in the country (AIR- 2) in the Unified International Mathematics Olympiad (UIMO) 2020-21.

Anmol achieved this feat by clearing a challenging examination for the group of Classes 6-10. The paper tested the competency of the students on Mathematics–1 (30 Marks), Mathematics-2(15Marks), Logical Reasoning (10 Marks), and Critical Thinking (05 Marks).

The Unified Council is a professionally managed organization, it aims to conduct a number of diagnostic and skill-based assessments for the students of Classes 1 to 12. The institution was established with an objective to unearth the hidden talent among the younger generation, thus making them fundamentally strong and more competitive. UIMO is a curriculum-based examination which assesses the students’ strength & weakness in Maths.

The top and the next two rankers in each class are awarded a Laptop and a Tablet PC respectively and a Memento each.

DPS Bokaro Principal, A.S. Gangwar, said that these competitions help the students sharpen their skills and provide them with a broader platform to explore and make them more competitive.” “I congratulate Anmol on his success and wish him the best for the future,” blessed Gangwar.
