Modi gifts 1.2 million doses of Corona vaccine to Bangladesh

RNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted 1.2 million doses of Coronavirus vaccine to Bangladesh. He took 12 lakh doses of Corona vaccine with him on a two-day visit to Bangladesh; arrived at Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport in Dhaka at around 10:15 am on Friday.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina welcomed Modi at the airport, and he has been given Guard of Honor by playing the national anthem there itself.

Later, Modi also met the Liberation War Fighter Liberals here; paid tribute to the liberation warriors who were martyred for the independence of Bangladesh. He will attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations to be held here on Bangladesh’s 50th Independence Day.

According to the report, Modi will visit the Sri Sri Jasoreswari Kali Mandir, located in Ishwaripur village of Shyamnagar, Satkhira, on the morning of March 27 from Tejgaon Cantonment. Modi will also visit Thakurbadi, the most significant pilgrimage center of the Matua community in Orakandi, Gopalganj, and visit around 300 Matua religious preachers.
