RNS I Bokaro: Acknowledging the importance of Hindi, the most communicated language in the country, Delhi Public School Bokaro Steel City celebrated Hindi Diwas today on 14th September with verve and enthusiasm. The Hindi publication ‘Swara’ was released on the occasion.
A special programme was organized to commemorate the occasion. The Programme commenced with the lamp lighting followed by the melodious rendition of the welcome song. The teachers expressed their thoughts in the form of prose, poetry and songs.
Addressing the teachers, A.S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro said, Hindi is a cosmopolitan language. The importance of the language can be deduced from the fact that in order to know more about India and its cultural heritage, people across the globe are eager to learn Hindi. He added that we should all be proud of such a scientific language and should be committed to enhance its glory. He advised the teachers to make united efforts for the progress and promotion of Hindi language which in turn will strengthen the unity of the country.
The programme was anchored by Kiran Verma and the vote of thanks was proposed by Shweta Dubey, Hindi teachers.
