IIT-ISM alumnus wins ‘SME- Empowering India Award’

Ranchi: ‘Minimac Systems’, founded by Anshuman Agrawal— an IIT-ISM Dhanbad alumnus won the prestigious ‘SME – Empowering India Award 2021’ for the best engineering solution.

Minimac Systems, incorporated in 2012 by Anshuman (B. Tech, 2005 batch and gold medalist of IIT-ISM), won the SME Empowering India Award – Engineering Solutions. The event was organised at Le Meridian Hotel, New Delhi, on Tuesday. The award was presented by Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry of India.

‘SME- Empowering India Awards’ in association with Knowledge Partner- National Productivity Council under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, recognizes the contribution of SMEs who have empowered the nation through their achievements and growth.

Anshuman is a certified MLT I from ICML and a trained MLE from Noria Corporation. His over 14 years’ experience spans various technology solutions and expanding Minimac’s reach beyond India to cater to the international market. He has authored many articles and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

He is a member of ‘The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers’ (STLE), ‘The International Council for Machinery Lubrication’ (ICML) and ‘Tribology Society of India’ (TSI). His dedication, hard work, determination, sound technical skills, and leadership qualities offer Minimac’s clients and team members with unique advantages.

Minimac Systems was founded with a passion for techno-preneurship and making a positive effect on the lubrication industry.

“I would like to thank my faculty at IIT-ISM Dhanbad, especially my department Mining Machinery Engineering where I learnt the basics of Tribology and Hydraulics. My project guides Professor K Dasgupta and Professor A K Mukhopadhyay who motivated me since my engineering days to start a venture in the Core Lubrication field,” said Anshuman.
