COVID-19 vaccination: India touches 122 crore mark

RNS: Over 121 crore 94 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 82 lakh 86 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry said, nine thousand 481 COVID-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.34 percent.

Till now, more than three crore 39 lakh 98 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19.

The country reported eight thousand 774 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is around one lakh five thousand. Presently the active cases constitute 0.31 percent of the country’s total Positive Cases, which is the lowest since March last year.

“The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 63 crore 94 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far,” it said.
