RNS I Bokaro: ESL Steel Limited, a Vedanta Group Company and a major national steel player, has organized a Handover ceremony of the Mobile Medical Unit which will be facilitated by ESL Steel Limited to Viswa Kalyan Seva Trust which is well known NGO for providing health care facilities in rural areas.
The Mobile Medical Unit will be equipped with state-of-art diagnostic facilities and accompanied by a dedicated medical team consisting of a doctor, lab technician and pharmacist.
The objective of this strategy is to take healthcare to the doorstep of the population, unreached rural areas. These units will provide services throughout the year, which will help rural communities availing healthcare facilities, thus saving their valuable time for livelihood activities.
The event was successfully concluded in the presence of Champai Soren, Jharkhand’s Transport Minister, where CEO ESL, NL Vhatte (Vedanta), handed over the MMU to Viswa Kalyan Seva Trust, Founder of Viswa Kalyan Seva Trust Rup Kumar Swamiji.
Besides others, ESL CSR, ER & PR Head, Ashish Ranjan, and Deputy Head CSR Rakesh Mishra were also present there.
