Telemedicine services kicks-off at BGH, Chasnala Dispensary

Bokaro: Tele-consultation and telemedicine services kicked off at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) and Chasnala Dispensary on Friday.

The services started under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer (Medical and Health Services) Dr. Pankaj Sharma and in association with Executive Director (Collieries) BK Tiwari, informed a Public Relation Official of BGH.

Chief General Manager (Personnel & Administration) Sanjay Tiwari, Chief Medical Officer (Medical & Health Services) Dr. Prakash Pandey, Additional CMO (Medical & Health Services) Dr. Varsha Ghanekar, Additional CMO (Medical & Health Services) Dr. S. Samaddar, General Manager (Tech. serv) Shri S Banerjee, Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts), S Singha, Assistant General Manager (P&A), Ajay Kumar, Assistant CMO Dr. Poonam Kumari, PR Barik, Chinmoy Bansal, Rajesh K. Meena Employees of Chasnala dispensary along with PK Ranjan and patient Mona Devi were also present on the occasion. During tele-consultation, the doctors interacted with the patient Mona Devi and advised her about medication.

With the introduction of telemedicine facility, now the patients from far-flung areas, the employees working in the colliery at Chasnala, Jitpur included in the Colliery Division of BSL can take advantage of this facility.

Can be easily achieved through conferencing arrangements have also been made to transport any serious patient.
