Bokaro : with the aim to give a platform to the students to develop their passion and career in the art-sector Delhi Public School Bokaro organized the Inter House Visual Arts Competition today. It also marked the culmination of the Cultural Week ‘Tarang’ that started on the first of this month.
The students of Classes- 6 to 12 left the spectators spellbound through the colourful display of their creativity and artistry on different themes. Over 100 students participated in the Competition. They expressed their feelings through Face Painting, Flower Arrangement, Rangoli, On Spot Painting, Clay Modelling etc. on the topics that varied across Fight against Corona, Health is Wealth, Importance of Yoga, Women Empowerment, Environment Protection, Save Earth etc. In Spot Painting segment, children presented paintings promoting the idea of environment protection whereas they designed posters based on the theme Festivals.
In the Clay Modelling segment, children made beautiful sculptures of terracotta depicting the love of a mother and child. The Calligraphy witnessed the expression that a good handwriting is a mirror to knowledge. Vegetables like carrots, radishes, cucumbers, turnips, etc. were presented in an attractive way in the Salad Competition. The performance of the students depicted their commitment and hard work.
Principal A. S. Gangwar appreciated the exhibits and said, “it is a fun and constructive way to learn. It helps in bringing out the hidden talents of the children and inspire them to build their own skills and self confidence thereby assisting in their all round development.”
