RNS: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar received the ‘Most Effective Principal Award 2023’. He is acknowledged for recording the maximum number of students to have bagged a scholarship from one school across the country in the CSC (Common Service Center) Olympiad organized under the Digital India scheme of the Government of India. Dr. Gangwar was felicitated in the 9th Global Education and Skill Summit Leadership Award 2023 ceremony held in New Delhi; he is the only Principal from Jharkhand to have received this award.
Dr Gangwar has been working with his team to reimagine the school’s teaching and learning ethos to make education egalitarian and a means of growth and development rather than an impersonal activity with the solitary goal of scoring points. He believes in igniting and channelising young minds into achieving brilliance through active learning imparted by a team of dedicated teachers.
Dr. Gangwar has credited this achievement to the result of hard work and relentless cooperation of the entire school, and family, including students, teachers, and parents. He said that with the efforts of all, DPS Bokaro is constantly scripting new stories of achievements.
Notably, nine students of DPS Bokaro have been recognized for their phenomenal performance in the Common Service Centre Olympiad, an initiative by the Government of India under the banner of the Digital India Scheme. Students earned scholarships of Rs. 43,200 per annum.
