Bengaluru: In a bid to inspire future innovators and changemakers, Orchids The International School launched its Young Entrepreneurs Program with an engaging session led by tech pioneer and Hotmail co-founder, Sabeer Bhatia.
The event, held at the school’s Yelahanka campus, brought together students from Grades 6 to 10 for an immersive dialogue on innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of learning.
The session marked the beginning of a unique initiative aimed at cultivating entrepreneurial thinking from an early age. Bhatia, a trailblazer in web-based communication and a strong advocate for forward-thinking education, shared his journey of founding Hotmail, emphasizing the importance of resilience, critical thinking, and the courage to think differently.
“Education must go beyond textbooks—it should fuel curiosity and empower students to solve real-world problems,” said Bhatia. “At Orchids, I saw students full of ideas and passion. Initiatives like this help shape the architects of tomorrow.”
Students engaged enthusiastically with questions on emerging technologies, sustainability, and innovation, reflecting a growing interest in shaping their own entrepreneurial paths.

Students will benefit from quarterly mentorship sessions with Sabeer Bhatia, as well as structured activities designed to transform ideas into actionable ventures.
