From Banker to Limca Book of Records – 2025


RNS: Ahmedabad based Free-lance Journalist, Writer & Cartoonist Vinod Chandrashekhar Dixit – has entered in the Limca Book of Records 2025 for his Longest letter to the Editor published in newspaper titled “Modi hai to mumkin hai ?” with 3646 words. Dixit a seven-time Limca Book of Records holder continues to transform lives with his Articles through newspapers. Dixit’s figures surpass his last record in LBR with 3321 words.

Dixit a retired Senior Manager from Bank of India wrote his first letter to the editor of the Indian Express in 1984 as a hobby and as no date he holds a record of 12,000 Letters and more than 6000 Articles published in around 350 different newspapers & magazines.

Dixit’s entry in the Limca Book of Records acknowledges his achievement as prolific writer of India. This record has been entered in the coveted Limca Book of Records, a platform that has recognized and documented various records and accomplishments held by illustrious Indians globally since 1987.

Dixit’s name has found its way into the Limca Book Of Records as well as the India Book of Records & International Book of Records. He has received Brahma Gaurav ward, Gujarat Gaurav Award, including the prestigious ‘Patra Shree” by the All India Press Writers Association.

Through his articles, he has addressed common issues that people face in their daily lives and guided them with ways to overcome obstacles. Dixit wrote on all the topics with which today’s society is facing and people want to read about those problems.
