Kumar Amit Flags Bangladeshi Infiltration in Bokaro, Urges Opposition Leader for Action

Bokaro: BJP State Working Committee member Kumar Amit met Leader of Opposition and State BJP President Babulal Marandi to raise concerns over alleged Bangladeshi infiltration in Bokaro. Highlighting the issue as a serious threat to national security, Amit urged Marandi to initiate a thorough investigation and ensure strict action against illegal residents.

He alleged that due to the Hemant Soren government’s “appeasement policy,” the local administration is likely to downplay the infiltration and potentially cover up such cases. Citing a recent incident in Chandankyari where an illegal Bangladeshi national was discovered, Amit claimed that no clear action was taken by district authorities, raising further concern.

“Bokaro is a district of strategic national importance. If infiltration continues unchecked, it risks turning into a safe haven for illegal immigrants like Sahebganj and Pakur,” he warned.

In addition to this, Kumar Amit also demanded a CBI probe into the death of Prem Mahato during a protest by the displaced apprentice union. He called for the withdrawal of FIRs lodged against union members and sought permanent employment for them in SAIL.

Babulal Marandi assured that all these issues would be addressed with due seriousness.

Party workers and local leaders including Karan Gorai, Sapan Goswami, Lalbabu, Chandraprakash, Jitendra Singh, Sheetal Mahato, and Suraj Chaudhary were also present during the meeting.
