Young Student Leaders Take Oath to Uphold Values and Embrace Responsibilities
Bokaro: In a vibrant celebration of youth empowerment and leadership, the Primary Wing of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro held its Annual Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 on Friday. The event was a testament to the school’s vision of shaping future leaders by entrusting young students with roles of responsibility.
The ceremony began on an eco-conscious note with the symbolic presentation of a sapling to Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar, reflecting the school’s commitment to sustainability. A melodious welcome song followed by the school anthem set the tone for the occasion, while a colorful dandiya folk dance performance mesmerized the audience.
The highlight of the event was the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council, who proudly marched onto the stage to receive their sashes and badges from the Principal.
Among the new appointees:
-
Shanvi Somani (Class V) was named Head Girl,
-
Reyansh Singh (Class V) became Head Boy,
-
Anshika Anand (Class IV) and Anshrith Nandan (Class IV) were appointed Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boy, respectively.

Congratulating the newly appointed leaders, Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar said,
“Such platforms empower young minds to discover their inner potential. Early exposure to leadership helps students evolve into responsible changemakers and torchbearers of the future.”
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National Anthem, marking the end of a day that blended tradition, talent, and inspiration.
