Bokaro: The Sanskar Bharti Bokaro unit hosted a vibrant Bal Krishna costume, dance, and drama competition at MGM Higher Secondary School, Sector 4F, on Saturday. Around 300 students from leading schools including DPS, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, MGM, GGPS, DAV, DY Patil, and others participated, dazzling the audience with their Krishna-Radha costumes and lively performances.
The event was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by MGM Principal Father Dr. Joshi Varghese, GGPS Principal Soumen Chakraborty, Sanskar Bharti National Minister Dr. Sanjay Kumar Choudhary, District President Amarji Sinha, and others.
Dhanbad MP Dhullu Mahto, chief guest of the program, praised the children’s performances, calling Lord Krishna’s life “a timeless source of inspiration.” He also lauded MGM School for supporting the cultural initiative. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Choudhary emphasized that Krishna’s teachings go beyond the flute and battlefield—he is a life philosopher, management guru, and a beacon of justice. He urged parents to instill values of Swadeshi, social harmony, environmental protection, and civic duty in children.
The program was smoothly anchored by Rachna Singh, with active support from Sanskar Bharti members. Judges included Shubhra Mukhopadhyay, Seema Mishra, Chamcham Kumari, and Sriparna Ghosh.
In the end, it was the little Krishnas and Radhas who truly captured every heart with their innocence and charm.
